Or you could simply hit running 2s to beat a bigger pair like someone in my 20 game did last month when the flop was 3 of a kind between the 2s and the other pair...makes for a good bad beat story. [/ QUOTE ] no...no it doesn't |

Re: flopped full house
The pot is 7 way? Both blinds and the initial raiser checked, utg2 bet leaving you and two others behind. Yeah I'd raise here too. I think calling is the absolute worst option. With maybe even just one more player behind you I'd be more inclined to fold but I think we have a little too much going for us to just fold so easily.

Re: flopped full house
Preflop and flop are very close. Once I get this far I am shoving one more bet out there on the turn and that is the last money going into this pot.

Re: flopped full house
I think this is well played so far. 10 bb in now, right. You are now down to two people with overcards. Probably have to dodge 10-16 cards.
Bet the turn, fold to raise. Check the river. God bless. |

Re: flopped full house
Fold. Negative EV all the way from here.
Problem here is that your hand has no chance for improvement. Your only out is 2,2 and that might not even make the nuts if someone is playing an A3 or a K3s. Besides that anyone who pairs any of their cards on the turn and river beat you. Also, the fourth 3 counterfiets a pair of deuces. |

When I have 87 of clubs and the flop comes T96 with two spades, I have "no chance for improvement" and I'm facing potential spade draws (and paired boards). Doesn't mean I should fold -- I have the best hand now and need to dodge some outs. Obviously in Hero's case he doesn't have the current nuts, but he still may have the best hand often enough to justify continuing in the hand. |
