How much BB/100 do you estimate the rake takes?

[/ QUOTE ]
you can look it up in the summary tab of PT. the rake will be the average BB/100

[/ QUOTE ]

Thanks. I've been playing around with the numbers but can't quite seem to understand it. For one thing the average rake != total rake / #hands (I've used both total #hands as well as #raked hands).

If my 3/6 HU game is averaging 0.46 rake. What does that mean?
$0.46/hand * 100 hands/100 hands = $46/100 hands. Which means that the game is taking $46/100hands / $6 = 7,67 BB/100 hands which can't be right or can it? Or is it total average rake (not only the rake I pay) which means that the amount I pay is ~7,67/2 = 3,83 BB/100 hands (assuming I win 50% of the pots).

Sorry if it is a dumb question or I'm missing something I just don't get the numbers.

acehole,

Filter your pokertracker for only games played at that level. Go to the summary tab. Down at the bottom will be the totals listed. One of those totals is "BB/100," which would be 0 if there was no rake. Take that number (say, 2.33) and multiply it by your big bet ($6 for 3/6), and you have your rake/100 ($14/100 in this example).

I don't play HU so I can't speak to what it should be.

Wow, yeah that is sick. It'll be mildy profitable at best. Good thing I'm running red hot then. I don't feel confident moving up to 5/10 yet but it seems like the only reasonable thing to do.
Do anyone have stats about the rake in the 5/10 HU games?

Yeah but the only thing that really matters is how much rake is taken out of pots you actually win. Who cares how much everyone else is paying? On the general tab in PT, under the Total Rake column, shows how much rake was taken out of pots that you won.
