And can someone tell me if the Vinny Vihn thing is a standard tournament procedure? If you just don't show up, do tourney directors bag your chips and let you play another starting day?

Also, since it appears Antonio Estafari forgot his correct starting date, (today), can he reschedule as well?

From Zimba's WSOP blog on cardrunners:

"Unfortunately, Brian Townsend busted out during the last hour. He had drifted down to around 16k and raised A,J on the button to 1200. One of the blinds shoves for 14k. Brian went with his read that the player was weak and called. The player turned over K's and Brian's day came to an end shortly after. On his way out he saw Bobby Baldwin, confirming their big game was on for tomorrow."

What's the bet Aba was sitting there thinking, I cannot stand another minute of playing 20 hands an hour with these donks. Why the hell is this guy raising me all in for 14k when I raised to 1.2k..... I think he has a mid pocket pair.... I'll take a coinflip so I can leave or double up.

Result: No Good. Thank God.

Yeah, I hate playing high-buyin tournaments with donks.

Awful call, if the action is right. Just don't even play in the first place, if you are some balla who is just going to do stuff like this.

[/ QUOTE ]

10k is a low buyin for him. I still don't get his call, tho.

that sucks goggles, u came up to my table and talked to the guy in the white jacket about that hand. i knew u looked familiar probably from TS but we hadn't met before. who was the guy u were talking to? i assume 2p2er

i just busted at the 200-400 50 ante level with 99 vs JJ on J109 flop, had 12k to start the hand, called 1200 raise and shoved to a 2.5k bet 4handed on the flop

So how many people played on Day 1A? Cardplayer is reporting 1500-1600, but pokernews cites a more official sounding 1287 directly from the Tournament directors over the loudspeaker.

Will somebody please [deleted] take out Brad Garrett next time.

--Brad Garrett is picking on the dealer because the dealer wants Garrett to put a chip on his cards to protect them, and Garrett doesn't want to. Then, a woman sits down across from him covered in Full Tilt logos. "Maybe you've heard of my website," Garrett says. "Ihopethatsnotmysphincter.com."

Having 126k at this point is about as relevant as me not even playing.

I can't wait for the threads on day two when a pro has 300k, HOWARD LEDERER POISED TO TAKE IT ALL.
