Default Should I have check/pushed the flop? FTP 50FP

It's one of those points multi-sng satellites, winner take all. Think I screwed this hand up. I think I should have check/pushed instead of check/raised. Any help appreciated.

Full Tilt Poker

Seat 9: (9,650)
Seat 9 posts the small blind of 800
HERO posts the big blind of 1,600

You should include stack sizes. Raising to half your stack and not just pushing is generally not good play.

Nath,
Had problem with the converter...modified the op with sizes. it was the final table.

I would have pushed with that hand just because you have a good chance of stealing the small blind, and buying yourself another hand. And on the flop, a push right away would be adequate if someone did call.
