Not a huge brag or anything, but God it feels good to play a solid session w/out tilt.

is 14/11 NIT styles ever profitable at 100nl+?

my friend has been playing A LOT of hands of that style and loosing the last 3 days (like 25k hands), does anyone know of an example of someone whos won at a decent winrate (say 2-3+) over a big sample playing like that?

I never play HU, but watching CTS's vid got me charged up, so I dropped down to $100nl and played a session w/ what had to be the most exploitable player in the history of HU. I've never seen someone so passive who c/folded EVERY [censored] hand.
LOL, ship the $100.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's the frustrating thing about HU imo; being up only a buyin on this kind of player would tilt me.

Last time I played 100nl HU I dropped ~7 buyins so I'm fairly sure I'm awful at it though.

And I don't think I could play more than 3 tables of it and still play my HU "A" game.

ihavent played any sats yet bc im super lazy, but eaglies (or pudge, who can remember theyre identical twins for god's sake) said that the 615s are softest tournmanet compared to their buyin. the last person so adamant about softness was durrrr wrt. the paradise 500nl tables a few years ago. having enver played NL, i made a bunch there. so basically, if you have 650 to throw down you have a sick shot at getting a seat. literally, winning that package is so great for those who havent yet gone. atlantis is amazing and the tournament buyin is prolly worth about 16k in ev. peaaaaaaace.

I'm 15/13 and I win pretty solidly, so yeah, I'd def still win if I cut a few hands out of my playing range.
