And why did Gold run to Chan after every play - did he need JC to approve every move he made???

If I had a Gun, two bullets, and was in a room with Helmuth, Gold, and a Snake - I'd shoot Helmuth - twice!

He ran through amateurs and internet fish like nothing. I give him credit for bullying his way through the field so pretty much the entire tournament. His talk doesn't work on pro's as seen on HSP most of the time but he had those WSOP fish doing exactly what he wanted. Just look at the last hand, got a tight player (paul wasicka) in and had him drawing to two outs.

He ran great, played good, and talked great. Talking great and getting people to call you when you have the nuts is not as easy as it looks.

hellmuth is a legend. my fav player. so funny and the best tourney player ever. and he's nice IRL so it is an act.

Gold - prob not too bad. he was edited to look worse at WSOP 06.

but phil is way cooler/better. the idiots who dislike hellmuth need to locate a greasefire. ty

Nice in real life? Last time I checked, poker tournaments take place in real life. When Hellmuth berates novices for "bad play" in front of tv cameras, that's real, but it's not that nice.

Phil Hellmuth = very good for the game ($$ wise).
Jamie Gold = very very bad for the game in almost every way.

I don't see how there's even a discussion to be had about which one we want to disappear.

Are you serious? Both Jamie Gold and Helmuth are horrible cash game players. They are both great for the game.
