Default I make set on turn, but it also puts flush and 3-straight on board.

villain is 26/20/3 over 300 hands.

our history consists on 1 hand. i opened AQ in the sb, he called from the bb. AAx flop checked through and he bluffraised the turn when I bet (i assume it was a bluff-raise because he folded when i led 1/2 pot on the river).

Full Tilt Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

Hero (UTG): $320.55
MP: $251.50
CO: $200
BTN: $198
SB: $42
BB: $200

Pre-Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $7, MP calls $7, 4 folds

Flop: ($17) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $12, MP calls $12

Turn: ($41) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)

I'd probably c/c here.

If he has a K, he'll most likely check, and you can bet and expect a call on most rivers. If you bet, you're probably not gonna get two streets of value, unless he is looking you up real light.

Plus you get some money from his floats, if he has one.

If he does have the flush, you can stack him if the board pairs (probably via c/r, but this depends a bit on his turn bet)

If the river blanks off, you have a few options, but mostly I'd check/decide, almost always calling. You can block if you think it will work, but I don't like this spot for that, cuz I think it looks super weak.

Of course, you risk the board four flushing/straighting, but I'm not really worried about him drawing here. If he was drawing, he probably already has it.

I think you can def get 2 streets of value vs your average 1/2 guy esp if your at all aggro yourself. I dont think a K is that massive a part of his range though given hero's flop bet on that board I think esp good K's raise a decent amount.

I'd prolly c/c for the other reasons you gave + it seems like there's quite a few hands in this guys range he could bluff raise w/.

If we're bet folding this turn with this much of our range, doesn't this make us extremely vulnerable to people bluff shoving any dangerous turn? I mean, hearts are a pretty small fraction of our turn leading range.

i like bigjims line more than mine, BUT people don't bluff 3 flush boards lightly and most people would rather call with a weakish hand on the turn than to bluff it

Yeah prolly, if he's going for thin value from a K, he's not betting that much.
