To start with its not a rant about the stupid iron man chip displayed.

I'm wondering if anyone has done some calculations as to how worth while this promotion is? I see the numbers being thrown around that supernova on stars is like having (I think) something like 35% rake back or something like that.

Assuming you are playing just for cash bonuses, and your opting in for bonus medals, is it a significant boost to your grind, or does it work out insignificant?

Assuming you have rakeback and are break-even in tournaments, using the iron man medals for tournament entries is your best bang for your iron man medal buck. Depending how long you want to hoard your tokens (or what level of tournament you think you are most +ev in), the value of a medal varies from 19 to 20 cents a piece.

(The bonus would be even with tournaments, except since bonus deducts from rakeback the bonus is not worth as much to those with rakeback as those without.)
