Where I play, Villain could have: AA, AJ, AKs, KJ, QK, JT, Ax spades - all of which you beat. He's only beating you with JJ, KK, 89 and maybe AQs (spades). But you're ahead here more often than not. Unless you have an amazing read on Villain (and you didn't post his PT stats so I'm guessing that's not the case) you didn't play this well at all.
You play small pocket pairs to flop sets. You flopped a set. Push that weak ass turn bet. Your play on the flop was perfect. Why did you turn into a nit on the turn? |
