Default QJs late position short stacked..facing big overbet

First off sorry about converter, couldn't get it to work.

This is a $2 tourny on party and I just took a beat and lost alot of chips.

When I played the hand I thought because of my stack size and the fact that I put him on A10 or maybe an over pair made my call automatic. Now I'm not so sure, I'm thinking maybe it wasn't the best play.

Also, Im not a big fan of raiseing preflop with paint...should this have been a preflop push..

thanks in advance for the help...

I can find a fold here pre flop - early position
Alternatively a push but not a call.
As played - With all those callers and then a miniraise - again a push is better.

Yeah you just can't limp with 7 BBs in your stack. Once you got to the flop, you simply have to push this draw.

You are in push or fold mode PF, why limp? That could be a HUGE leak.

Just push the flop. That's THE ONLY reason to even be in this hand WITHOUT pushing it all-in preflop.

Stack < 10x BB - push or fold. NO LIMPING. NO CALLING MIN-RAISES. PUSH - or FOLD.

Here you have 7BB's and your hand is good enough to open-push IMO. Just do it.

with tight calling ranges for next 7 players (TT+,AQs+,AKo) and somewhat looser ranges for the blinds this push is actually +EV. I push this and hope I get called and get lucky enough to double up, since my stack at this point is not worth much and I'd really like to get some chips.

I do not hate the fold though since it's UTG.

Edit : as long as you called the push - I do not mind the flop line. I still like the push better, even though you do not have much FE at all.

With 7BB in your stack it is push/fold time - I would fold UTG or UTG+1 but any later than that I think it is a push
