Default 200NL: awkward stack sizes with TP2K

Villain is almost unknown, no stats yet. he has played one hand (folded PF maybe two or 3 times):

Villain open raises to $7 in the CO.
TAG BTN 3bets to $24
SB calls
Villain calls.

FLOP: $74 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB checks
Villain bets $50
BTN raises AI
SB folds
Villain folds.

... which i thought was a weird play

Anyway, the hand in question:

Party Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

SB: $200.80
BB: $171.83
UTG: $420
MP: $31
CO: $434.07
Hero (BTN): $206

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN)
3 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $8</font>, SB folds, BB calls $6

Flop: ($17) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $12</font>, <font color="red">BB raises to $38</font>, Hero calls $26

Turn: ($93) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, <font color="red">Hero?

1. How's my flop play?
2. How much do i bet on turn, if at all?

I'm betting more on that flop, in the 14-pot range. The wuss in me says to c/f turn here but I feel if hes agressive and on diamonds alone we're giving away the hand when he bets after we show weakness. I'm prolly making a smallish bet of ~60 and folding to a shove.

I like checking behind on the turn.

- I don't see him checking a flush draw on the turn after c/ring the flop.
- Looks like a weak queen he is slowing down with, or a monster he wants to get tricky with.

check turn- the only draw hit and the rest of his range is sets/Qx/air...call river bet or VB a check.

Did you look at the flop? There is still a few draws out there.....

Still quite like your line though. Probably folding to a lead on a diamond river.
