Blocks google ads (adblock misses some), enables SSL by default for Gmail and other google apps, and a bunch of other stuff.

left it on accidentally. It seems to mess with a lot of sites when it is on, making them unusable or missing things.

do you know what you're talking about? Both IE and opera have less security holes
