(PS $5/$10): Shoo Fly
Button is tight and SB is loose passive.
BB is 24/15/34/1.9/3.5/3 after 165 hands UTG is 71/32/46/1.4/1.3/2.3 after 560 hands. He is capable of idiocy at times, but in general I would say that he just overvalues his hands. Re: (PS $5/$10): Shoo Fly
i dont even mind betting here, some spots i force myself to bet and hate it in these situations. u ll get called by plenty of worse hands, the T pairs up some str draws that u can get value from as well and i think bet folding is probably fairly safe here altho i could leak in these turn spots?
if called and the river is a blank 3 2 5 whatever valuebetting would be a tough decision i think |

Re: (PS $5/$10): Shoo Fly
I think we have to bet, the question is what to do if raised . . . I guess most Aces we split with will just call here, and I don't think we get semi-bluffed enough in this spot to want to calldown, so b/f is probably best.

I may suck at poker, but how are you not betting TP in a protected pot on a drawy board?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see why you wouldn't bet here.

Re: (PS $5/$10): Shoo Fly
Against tricky players and in situations where I don't have complete trust in my A-pair, I check behind in this spot to avoid the c/r cause I don't think the hand can sustain being c/r. I also call the inevitable river bet.

scotch-
stop over thinking it. I mean. You have two choices: One is to bet, one is to check here. Please convince me how betting isn't better by the widest possible margin |

[ QUOTE ]
Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see why you wouldn't bet here. [/ QUOTE ] *grunch* Checking is not always such a bad idea, especially HU. Better when your hand can also improve to the nuts. With TP, you can check it through sometimes. See what the river brings. Villain was mostly likely going to fold or raise. Call the river bet. You'll save a bet when you've been outdrawn, and gain a bet when you induce. |

I really need to learn why handing out free cards in position on a drawy board with TP beats b/c.
