Re: FUH KIN WIERD
Guys, here's the thing. I was wrong in thinking about the hand. I mean, I think it's just a "what level do you put him on question."
I picked the wrong level. The line, to all sane players, looks like a bluff. It would be atrocious for him to check the turn with anything legit, since I will frequently CRAI on the turn with bluffs and mediocre made hands. I assumed he knew that. After the knowledge of hand 1, I assumed that he was capable of raising top pair hands frequently. I think he'd play KQ like this, and that's it. FWIW, I would snap call if I had any ace but the ace of clubs. I think his line is horrible, and I was going to immediately CRAI on ANY river bet size EXCEPT 330. Honestly, against this particular player, I was going to CRAI with 300 or less, CC 350 or more, so nh to him, picking the amount to bluff that I thought he would pick to value bet. Again, just a leveling thing. It more goes along the lines of "No good player would bluff with this line- jesus christ I hope he knows that." Whoops. |

ae, I like flop call. We have a big part of his range drawing to around 2 outs, but not many hands in his range we can profitably get all-in on this flop. Also we have pretty much no FE against any legit hand he is raising here. Interested to hear your plan if he bet 300 on a low non club turn? What about a club? I think A/J/K I'd check/call. Now I call for sure. Too likely he puts you on a hand like this knows he has no showdown value. [/ QUOTE ] Dunno what my plan was on many turns, I might have done goofy things that re-donked into him to induce bluffs and or freeze him up if I hit three of a kind or two pair, and maybe even half pot donked if I made my flush. It's the kind of thing I would also do with a weak made hand that was ahead of his bluff range but needed added equity and certain turns to rebluff with a donk-lead. So my range is pretty balanced there. |

Re: FUH KIN WIERD
the thing about thinking on levels there is ultimately you only need to be right one time in three, so you go ahead and look him up

Re: FUH KIN WIERD
why not 3bet the flop? I would do that here like 90% of the time, or more.

[/ QUOTE ] stacks are bad for it. he's got no hand i'm ahead of that will want to have FE, so no need to give it to him, so i need FE myself, which i can't really get bc of stacks and a shove being an overbet. i can just procede better on latter streets. |
