New York Gyms

I'm in NY for two months for a summer internship. I don't know the city at all and am having trouble finding a reasonably priced, reasonably close gym. I live on 20th street and 3rd ave.. Any help? I know its a shot in the dark.

I joined NYSC for the summer. They have a ton of locations and the facilities are decent, though there is some variance between locations. None of the locations I have been to have enough squat racks, but that is par for the course for chain gyms. Summer membership is $300. They had some student deal but I believe the signup period for that is over.

dolphin fitness, 4 months $170

The one i go to in brooklyn is a bit crowded, too many machines and not enough open space. Can't say for other locations though and i doubt there's many other cheaper gyms.
