Default New Party Tablescanner + Datamining

Hi,

I wrote a small program to scan the Partypoker tables like PTS or Sixth sense do.

Its in a very early state.
Currently only Pokertracker postgreSQL Databases are supported.

Here is how it works:
First the Tablescanner part.

Scan : Only reads the tables of the currently selected limit in the Partypoker software.

If one selects a table the playerstatistics will be shown.
One have to configure the Database which to use in the "Options" dialog. Currently one can add more than 1 Database, but only the first in the list gets used...

FullScan : Same as "Scan" but now the playerstatisctics get shown automatically...

Join : If a Table is selected it gets opened...

There is also a Datamining part included, which opens and closes the tables automatically.
Look the Optionen *g for the options.
Basically its just a GUI for jukofyorks FreePHG, plus the "open/close" tables part...

What shall i say...
I registered here over a year ago.
But i am from germany, so i found some german communities where i usually spend my posts.

My forum account here is also my Partypoker screenname, maybe some of you got reads about me ($5/$10)...

To test the application one could start the Partysoftware without logging in...

2p2 is a very big community so i thought its maybe not wrong to get some feeback of you guys...
On the other side, maybe you dont have to buy some software which offers this ability...

dunno

The way to try out these new programs is to run them under VMWare and of course don't put your PW in the party installation under VMWare. You can also run them under Sandboxie. Can't verify they are safe that way of course, but at least you can try them out without any danger.

Snood, if you want/can open source it, it'd take care of the security issue.

Version 1.3 out:

Some minor bugfixes...

Added:
-WentToShowdown
-Support for more than 1 Database
-Better Datamining:
Under Options->CloseTables one can activate the ability to datamine only tables which fullfills the specified minimum average potsize (in Big Bets).
Tables gets closed if average potsize falls below this threshold.
Tables dont get opened if their average potsize is too low...

I am sorry for my somewhat harsh response Mr_Snood,

to be honest I did not notice your reg. date ~18 Months previous, all I saw was:

New datamine software ... rapidshare ... posts: 1

[/ QUOTE ]

I think setting up an account 1.5 years previous to posting scam software is much less likely than if the account was created yesterday, but the possibility remains, and too many posters here have been burned now (search RBCalc.exe for one of the more high profile hacks in recent times), and therefore should be suspicious of such softwares offered by unknown posters, or softwares offered w/o source code.

Really, people should be highly suspicious of ANY software that you do not understand the code for, and that knows you play poker for $$$

Since you are not charging $$ for this, is there any reason why you are not open source? (My apologies if you are, I have not d/l this yet).

dave.

The program has been deleted from rapidshare by the OP.

Why is that?

What kind of system reguirement are required to run VMWare?
Disk space, processor, etc? I had thought VMWare was for large server installations, but I am not real computer savvy.

Thanks

Does VMWare and Sandbox hide your IP address and files stored on the hard drive?

If you download something to the virtual drive, if happy with it can it be saved to the "real" drive, or do you just download again?

Thanks
