Default The new poker professional

Today while playing Party's LHE 10/20, some guy with HUD statistics 81/35/9 beat my AKs with 53o after reraising me preflop and making a flush.

After chuckling, I chatted, "i didn't expect that! nh". And he replies, "sorry man but this is what i do for a living. this game is all about defying expecations."

Just when did poker become so amazing?

Why wouldn't he play like that when people will pay him off with one pair when a running 4 flush comes on the board.

Well thank you for your keen insight, Punker. But this was not a bad beat and I am certainly not whining. The professional clearly outplayed me.

Good point. Sadly I flopped top two. And when the river card made a four flush on the board, I only had to win 1/9 to make a call profitable.
