interesting chat with WSEX support
I previously set up an account but, being a NL player, the lack of game selection kept me from playing here... Anyhow, I figured I would take another look around and, since I deleted the software, I didn't have my account info... Thought I would post the chat log here since I find it scary, despite it being a dormant account, that support would provide my username and reset my password after just providing them with my email and full name...

wow thats horrifying. are you sure there isnt something you missed? maybe you verified your id somehow? maybe you had no money in your account so it doesnt really matter if they give you the password?

no, they have done the same thing to me when I asked about a pending bonus. They asked for my account name and my passwored to bring up the info.

It's possible that they noticed you were talking to them from the same IP address you last connected from, and therefore assumed you were you.
Still not great though, and by no means certain they checked the IP address anyway.

I don't really see a problem with this...it's a new account, never used, and they're providing a new generated password. It's pretty much standard practice, it's the same as sites like neteller sending you a password via email or poker sites allowing access after a secret question is answered.
If it was an established account with money in I'd be worried, but in this case, no problem.

There are other reasons of course, for example that my money does much better work for me elsewhere.
