Ryan, any suggestions on how he can finish the Werewolf game (which requires him to use an identifiable name) he's hosting...at least for the sake of the 25 players involved in it?

It's obvious that bobo is banned because he is unliked. But i mean...that's what happens when you constantly antagonize people.

I don't really sympathize with bobo because he baits people and baits people and baits people knowing full well it could lead to a banning at any time.

Traz, so you are basically saying that Bobo is a master baiter?

Strange that only BobO's posts were deleted then huh

Bobo,

1. Email Ryan Beal and negotiate something. Probably an exile from Sports but if you actually want to come back to POG you'd probably have to suck it up and admit what you did wrong.

2. Stop making more accounts. They're just gonna keep getting banned. Ban evasion is extremely annoying for mods. And yes other banned posters have obviously made new accounts but you're making these immediately after the fact and with the same [censored] name. That probably isnt gonna fly.

In short, wait a bit, email/PM/IM Ryan or MEbenhoe, make a completely different name, stay away from Sports.

Also, ROFLMAOLOLOLOLSJKLDFJSJFD:J at Neil telling someone to grow up.

everything gt1t said is exactly right. I want to make a few notes though...

With respect to 1: Bobo has already burned his bridges and I don't know if MEbenhoe will change his mind

Also,

For the record, a typical response for a 1 day ban circumvention in OOT or BBV4L might be something like extending the ban on the original account to 3-5 days. After that 2 weeks. After that permaban. It obviously depends on the situation/mod and there's no hard and fast rules but that's basically the idea.

As far as posters coming back under other accounts, usually that happens by the person making a new account and no one realizes it's them and then, most importantly, the poster BEHAVES THEMSELVES FOR A SIGNIFICANT LENGTH OF TIME and then if/when it becomes known we might decide to let the account stay unbanned. The most notable instance of this was when Evenkeal behaved himself after the Alphawice ban and no one knew it was him for over a month. Though eventually he did get himself into trouble and banned again. But coming back here and screaming "DAMMIT F THE MAN UNBAN ME" is not the way to try to make amends.

Cliffnotes from unbiased party:

1) Bob's ban was probably too harsh. Exile from Sporting Events would have been a more clear-headed judgement. Perma-ban seems undeserved and excessive.

2) Bob acted like an idiot after the ban and did not take the right steps to get things sorted out.

3) A seemingly fair resolution would be to un-perma-ban the original Bob 2+2 account. Exile him from Sporting Events. Ban him like a week for his behavior post-ban and his gimmick accounts post-ban.
