Re: 108$ sng turbo ?
Can't be good?
Your hand is too weak. Villans would have to call incredibley tight for this to be +EV. I think i'd wait for a better spot. ICM sez its only +EV if they are all calling with top 10%. |

Re: 108$ sng turbo ?
I don't get the meaning of this post.
Are you asking if pushing 100% here is correct? the answer is obviously NO. Even if they call with top 10% is still EV-. |

Re: 108$ sng turbo ?
ok, what is your range if you have 2500 chips instead 3210 here ?

[/ QUOTE ] Thats kind of irrelevant because we're in a completely different universe of a situation in that case, not only would we be in last place but we would be about to hit the BB and lose all FE, at 3200 we can take the blinds and still have a BIT of FE but much more importantly we're in 3rd here, push fairly tight with this stack. |

Re: 108$ sng turbo ?
But you Ev drops significantly the next hand if you fold obviously. But still probably in decent shape. But then you must push anything in sb or button or whatever I suppose.

Re: 108$ sng turbo ?
i think this is not too terrible if everyone is really tight and you never plan on playing with them again. otherwise fold. good things can happen by foldling.

Re: 108$ sng turbo ?
i don't think theres any question this is -EV in the longrun, but the question is whether you should take this -EV play in an effort to not be forced to take a WORSE -EV play later.
but like someone said, you'll still have FE after the 800 blind, and can shove from SB next hand with any two and have it be more preferable than this. |

[/ QUOTE ] Even with 2500 chips i am not pushing anything less than top 20%. Blinds will hit my 2500 and so? i stll have plenty of FE with 2000 chips. Also I don't like John's comment: it doesn not really matter if you are well known or just a random player becase we are discussing a general case and the point is to find the optimal solution. Optimal here is to fold and, without reads, to fold a lot of hands, then if we are trying to make a sort of play then we are open to any moves but it will certainly be EV- in the long run. |
