Re: [50nl] River bluff in 3bet pot
OOP i would have reraised preflop. I like your line after this, alot of scary cards on the board and he will have a problem calling with anything but a 9 or a flush.

Re: [50nl] River bluff in 3bet pot
If you're going to call on the flop, you need to lead the turn.
If you don't suspect BB is 3-betting you light, though, I'd call and fold any flop that doesn't give me a pair. |

Re: [50nl] River bluff in 3bet pot
I think you split a lot with AK here when called. If I'm villain I probably fold AK, but I'd call TT/JJ most of the time. His bet on the flop is odd and his check behind on the turn leads me to believe he has AK or worse.

Re: [50nl] River bluff in 3bet pot
grunch.
assuming tight 3b range. flop call is bad cos you don't have enough s/d equity unimproved, and any kind of aggression seems spewy. turn is actually a possible spot for leading but that might be influenced by his check behind. i think a 2/3 lead *might* show a profit. river is not terrible (your line makes sense) i just don't think he folds often enough (40%) but he might do. |

Re: [50nl] River bluff in 3bet pot
[ QUOTE ]
4-bet or fold PF. Playing AK oop is hard. Fold flop or maybe c/r - villain looks weakish. Turn, as played, don't know - it sucks to float oop with AK. River, ok. Now that we got there like this its probably worth a shot. Villain doesn't look too strong so I don't mind it. Main downside is "never bluff a calling station". [/ QUOTE ] yeh, i keep wanting to take the lead in this hand, but then i have nightmares about him calling us down with whatever pair he's holding. quite a marginal spot with reads as given. |
