Re: Absolute Poker Scandal: An Inside Job
Dunno if anyone hit this yet, but the Domain Discreet thing that some were confused about earlier, as I understand it is a very very common service. I own a few domains myself and used a similar service so that my name + address didn't come up in the WHOIS search. In the US if you "own" a domain you are legally required to put your correct contact info up there on the domain registration for everyone to see-- so there are other companies like DD who you can pay $30/yr to "take ownership" of the domain and put their corporation's contact info in your place, protecting your ID from spammers and the like.

Can we be sure he is the only one USING that IP? [/ QUOTE ] No, we can't. It could be anyone else with access to his home cable modem. |

[/ QUOTE ] Do you know that it's his home modem for sure? I know that it is residential, but I don't know for sure it's actually his. It seems like we've only confirmed that it is: a) residential (someone told me this) and b) something he used (you confirmed this in your earlier post) I think it would be his home, but don't know for sure. |

Re: Absolute Poker Scandal: An Inside Job
Why didn't Scott Tom try to make it a bit less obvious when he was playing on his superaccount?
He is a poker player IRL so he should have known this stuff would have been noticed. |
