KQo when 3 bet OOP by tight player (LC)
Imagine a 10 handed table you raise KQo in MP3 and get 3 bet by a tightish guy (CO) who you reckon is on TT+ AK and AQs+, all fold back to you. I was trying to work out the kind of flops where I should call down.
Seems like these are all good if rags come on turn and river which happens about half the time, obviously some of them need pitching when particular broadway cards come. AJT AQQ AKK AAK AKx AAQ AKQ AKJ AKT AQx KKK KKQ KQQ KKx KQx KKJ KKT KQJ KQT Kxy Kxx KJJ KTT KJx KTx QQQ QQx QQJ QQT Qxy Qxx QJJ QTT QJx QTx But what would you do with AQJ and AQT they are about 31.5% to win on the flop but if you don't improve they are 23% to win at the end respectively. The trouble I see is you have the odds to call and try to improve and by the time the river is dealt the pot is such that you can also call the river profitably (when you don't improve), with a hand you would have folded if you had to call 10 to win 25 with no more cards to come, so what would be the best action on those types of flop?
