Razz 7th st. value bet?
So I've just started playing razz, and this type of situation keeps coming up. I don't know whether to value bet 7th street or check/call when I've got something like (64)3 8 K 10(10), and villian has something like (xx) 2 9 6 10(x). The best hand he could have on 6th st. is a 9. Do I bet 7th in the hopes that he would call with a worse 8, or even the 9, or do I check/call in this spot? On the one hand, I might be in a situation where I'll only get called with a better hand, but on the other, the pot might be big enough that he would call with the 9 or a worse 8 given the odds. Any suggestions?

Re: Razz 7th st. value bet?
First of all in your example, you have a Ten Low. You may be able to beat a T9 low but thats it. Since you started with 4 cards to an 8 low, you were probably playing it fast and if your opponent was calling all the way he prob had something like (78)2 9. He may have paired his 6 on 5th street and hoping you would catch a big card on 6th so he continued. I would check call here.

Don't you also have position in your example?

Re: Razz 7th st. value bet?
I'm sorry, I screwed up the example. Basically I want to know if I should value bet a hand like 86 on the end against my opponents likely 9. Sorry about the bad example, I made a mistake when in the OP.
