Default i check a vulnerable hand

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: econ_tim is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">econ_tim 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG caps</font>, econ_tim calls.

Flop: (9.40 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
UTG checks, econ_tim checks.

i want to showdown, but i don't want to pay too much.

villain was somewhat loose/passive preflop over small sample: 40/10. and his flop check is pretty suspicious.

Seems okay. Not sure I would go that many bets if I spiked a ten.

Here's my usual plan. I have no idea if it's good or not.

I bet the flop. If he check/raises the flop I suspect FPS and call down unless an A hits the board, then I fold.

If he calls the flop bet and checks the turn then I check through the turn and call a river bet.
