Default A questionable river call (plo200)

Villian in this hand has not done anything really unreasonable. No reason to not believe hes v goot though. We have similiar stack sizes.

Final pot: $396

villian had around 100 or so left behind after the river pot. Should i c/r all in here. At the time i thought it was a clear check-call, but now im not so sure...

Check-call is right play against aggressive players. Sometimes he shows you KK or 33 here, but that's the breaks. If villain were tight, I'd prefer a value bet on the river and consider folding to a raise.

i would have just potted the river, but if your checking, i would probly c/r AI. i really dont think he has 33/KK here.

I would usually bet the river, but I like the check raise line, as long as you do actually raise after u check.

Your simply not deep enough to worry about him having quads or KK.

yeah, I'd lead for HP and get it all in if I could. you get paid way more often by 93 or 44 then you get stacked by quads.

depends on read. I can't see him drawing, since you said he isn't an unreasonable player and the turn call on most any draw is unreasonable. Check call and have the balls to push.

Remember with your trips you are potentially in negative implied odds situation. i.e. if it pairs you won't get paid off, but if many cards hit you will have a tough time to call a full pot bet, buy many you will have to.

NEGATIVE IMPLIED ODDS?! He is not only a favorite to win but also his hand doesn't have to hit to win the pot. Every time he bets he earns the money. So actually he has positive implied odds when betting the flop and the turn.

no, he has positive equity in the hand - which you are speaking of - offset by negative implied odds from a player that uses his head. This of course is on the flop-turn.

As played, check/call < check/AI
