i cry a massive amount. should i seek professional help?

I agree with NT that many people will try to tell you there's something wrong with you and as long as you happy for the most part, this is probably garbage.

However, I wouldn't rule out that something may be up with your hormones. Transexuals (male to female) who begin taking estrogen develop a higher capacity for crying... it's totally a hormonal thing. I would maybe get this checked out if you're really worried.

I've seen my dad cry numerous times...my husband only twice. Not to bash my husband, but of the two my dad would be considered far more "manly" by anyone who knows them both.

Here's my first entry into the log.

I had an extremely frustrating morning. I spent several hours on the phone with a few different companies' customer service departments. When I got off the phone with the last one, I was driving home and turned up my stereo so that I could relax a little bit. The Les Miserables soundtrack was in, and the second song that played was On My Own.

About 75% of the way through the song, I started to well up, then dropped a few tears. Nothing big, I have cried harder to this song before. I don't think my state of being frustrated had much to do with crying, but I could be wrong.
