No losing months followed by one, hmm, variance catching up maybe?

Yeah, that's what I said. I understand that this happens, but I am not used to it happening for such an extended period of time.

andrew how many hands do you play a day? you say you play in your spare time..so ~1k hands a day MAYBE? you COULD run bad for 50 days...a 50k downswing is not unheard of.

Confidence and a big roll is the key.

I keep a rediculously huge bankroll. My fiends just think I must suck hard or I'm crazy. However I've experienced swings like yours before.

I play 6 tables at FTP from about 7:30 or 8 PM until about 10 PM. I don't have my PT here on my work computer, but 1K per day isn't too far from the ballpark.

Like I said, I am taking a couple of days off, reading a couple of books, and plan to come back next week with a fresh attitude and hopefully improved confidence.

My online BR is now 20 buy-ins, getting close to where I feel uncomfortably underfunded.

I agree with this completely. When I am enjoying play, good things tend to happen. When I am fighting it, I tend to get these bad runs. I can't explain why.

The funny thing is that as a self-employed professional, I make about 15-20 times my poker income at my "real" job, yet I sweat my poker bankroll more. Strange, huh?
