Default 109r spot against AsianDude

This is just a preflop spot i've been thinking about. I don't have the exact hand history so bear with me.

blinds 800/1600 + ante, table is 7 handed

Asiandude is UTG+2 with 29k, mman_status (me) in cutoff with 27k

button has 9500
sb has 16k
bb has 16k

Asiandude opens to 4k, folded to me with KQo

Does the fact that button,sb,bb are short widen his range or tighten it? I have a fairly tight image, are you shoving here everytime?

so 7 handed he is in the HJ then? 7 handed i'd shove all day. if he were opening utg+2 9 handed i'd fold.

it widens (or should widen imo) his range, decent spot to shove i guess

Considering he's HJ, I would shove, I think his opening range should be fairly wide there, especially w/ the stacks behind. I also don't think it's that close, unless he's calling pretty light.

Ok, after thinking it over, I'm undecided on whether the stacks behind widen or narrow his range, and really depends on the players in the blinds.

Answer depends on ante size.
