I thought grinder implies someone who wins more than .01 ptbb/100 at 1/2

Shortstack picking on the .01ptbb winner, this could be good!

wow at least when I lose its legit sick hands or suckouts, this is just horrible.

Don't compare me to Reef.

[/ QUOTE ]

You're right that's an unfair comparison. Reef actually manages to win at this game.

Gildwulf, I feel 100% exactly the same. Post work forced poker time is not +ev. Unless I start pumping some oxygen and get waitress service at home to resemble a casino.

fwiw i had my bigges month ever last month in terms of $ by doing exactly this (the only playing when i could focus not the waitress) even though i played only 26k hands when i usually avg about 60k

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't know how you get in 26k hands if you have a full time day job unless the weekends are filled with some major poker. I suppose you don't have a wife and child..

just a wife, im only 22 and no full time day job. i have until next fall before i start med school, which will all but eliminate my poker time obv. So the plan was to grind a [censored] ton until then but im learning maybe just to play when im playing well and make more $ in less time w/ less stress

I've had some of my biggest drawdowns forcing degen time rather than clearheaded poker time.

Best of luck with med school man, good stuff.
