You can love food, and enjoy cooking and not gain weight. If she's into pastery, dessert will be a pain to avoid, but if she's smart about stuff and avoids junk foods, it isn't hard.

Be honest with her, help her make good choices. If that doesn't work, move on.

I realize that she isn't that "fat" now. Which is why i'm not going to leave her. However, This is a serious downgrade physically for what I'm used to dating (I got pics of the hot girls I can post if ya want), but the hot girls have no personality and it's like talking to a brick wall so I'll easily choose this girl over them if she was just a tad bit more in shape. I'm hesitant about staying because she is GETTING fat. She's 20. This is suppose to be like her prime. Her weight is only going to get worst later. She got dealt a bad hand when it comes to genetics. Some of you are calling me shallow but it's hard being with someone where there is no physical attraction. Very few people can really stick to exercise and dieting so I have some doubts about whether I can change her lifestyle.

Look, A lot of people are going to tell you you're awful, you're shallow, you shouldn't care about her weight since I'm sure she's beautiful on the INSIDE.

She must know how you feel about fitness and keeping in shape, and how important they are to you. She also must know what you like physically, and that her gaining weight probably turn you off. Ten pounds on a 5'1" girl is a lot...and I'm sure she's gained more than that, correct?

What does it say about her that she doesn't care enough about you to realize these things are important to you? You're very young and shouldn't be tied down to someone you're not physically attracted to.

Women have to start realizing that men are visual creatures. They can't gain 30 or 40 pounds and then expect us to want to keep boinking them.

I'd sit her down, tell her your concerns and go from there. Either she'll understand and start taking better care of herself or she'll wig out and break up with you.
