What´s up with all these 6max charts that suggest folding A9-7 after getting 1 limper ?!

In here, for example:

I guess this might have to do with keeping people who need a chart out of trouble. Also, we just went through the rake issues in another thread and how pushing edes like these might not always be worth it. I raise A9o after 1 or 2 limpers almost every time though.

Sort of grunched.

6max often emphasizes a different set of skills. This is not to say you will be learning poker all over again, that what you've learned full ring is useless, or that you can't do it. Just something to be aware of.

Having said that bit of vagueish metagame content, I think 6max is much better than FR.

i was in a bad downswing at full ring and have moved to 6m for the time being, to work on different areas of my game--blind play, stealing, aggression etc. there are more holes to exploit in other people's games at 6max, whereas a lot of full ring tables have 8 or more tags and you're just passing money around.

Thank you guys for your input.

I guess I will take a shot at 6max, starting out at .1/.2. When I'm getting used to new starting hands etc. I will move up.
