Biloxi is closer and better plus there are now several poker rooms.

The Ebro poker-room is surprisingly decent imo.
Not exactly the greatest ever but much better than I expected.

But only $100 buy-in of course and not as much action this time of year with practically zero tourists in the area....but for donking around and killing some time playing really horrible 1/2 NL players it ain't too shabby.

My original point was that I have a tough time seeing how it is convenient to 'swing by' Tunica just because you're visiting the Fla panhandle. They aren't really close to each other and you can save yourself a fairly lengthy drive by choosing some of the closer poker options.

Which place doesn't have much $5-10nl?

Do you expect there to be a lot of $2-5 and $5-10nl games at Harrah's during Mardi Gras?

I've heard that there is great action during Mardi Gras, but I would think it's more concentrated in the 3/6 LHE and 1/2 NLHE games. I doubt you'll see many of the 2/5 or 5/10 regulars in the Quarter at Mardi Gras, so it wouldn't surprise me if those games are down to 1 or 2 2/5 games.
