Re: Weak played turn, can I call river?
I think you can b/f the turn because the board is so stupid that he'd have to expect to get looked up pretty lightly and thus him making a play at a pot with a board like this is a pretty devastating move for him in the long run.
Given our check I think the river is pretty standard. |

Re: Weak played turn, can I call river?
The fact that people b/f this turn because they dont expect a good player to bluff it is the reason why I often bluff it with succes.
In other words I hate b/f'ing and would call down if I got raised. @ OP Without a good read that he wont bluff here you cant fold. |

Re: Weak played turn, can I call river?
Vilain will fold most worse hands on the turn and very rare fold a better thats why i dont see the value in a turnbet. If he is able to bluff c/r the turn its another reason to check behind.
I think the turn is a perfect spot to induce a bluff b/c heros hand has clear showdown value. The rivercard is not the best to catch a bluff b/c villain should expect hero to call with A high and wont bluff to often. But i still call this river bet an make a note which kind of hand can bet me and doesnt c/r the flop. |

Besides it has value when he folds a 6 outer. Unless he bluffs the river a lot when the turn checks through or unless he bluff raises a lot you really need to bet this turn |

Re: Weak played turn, can I call river?
Your right oink. I made a mistake and thought that OC cant continue to call b/c of the small potsize. But any OC + gutshot combi has 10 Outs and has an easy c/c at this turn.

Re: Weak played turn, can I call river?
The turn check here is weak IMO. I'll only check to a player who is very aggressive and C/R semi-bluffs a lot of these situations. There are LAGs (with KJ, QJ) who count the 6 outs for overs and the 4 outs for a gut and get 10 so they go into auto-check-raise mode. Against that player I may check the turn and call the river.
Otherwise this AT hand has good showdown value against a range of worst hands that would call the turn and check the river. Some may even call the turn and bluff the river. All in all the turn bet gets us a win or a free show most of the time. As played I need/want/like a read to call the river bet. |

Re: Weak played turn, can I call river?
I agree with Oink. I would bet with the intention of calling down against this player. I'd expect him to fast play here on the flop if he hit or make a move on the turn.
