I think this past episode contained one of the worst played TV poker hands I've seen to date. Player 1 raises from EP with QQ, button reraised 3x with KK, P1 reraises slightly more than the minimum, button calls. Flop is Kxx, P1 leads out for 14-15k or approx. half of button's stack. What can P1 possibly beat in this spot with 3 raises before the flop?? Even more amazing to me is watching button make the obvious all in move for 17k more into ~100k pot and seeing P1 call. I can almost justify aggression on the flop, even if misguided, but what reasonable range can P1 call against here that make his 5:1 odds worthwhile? Is there a hand that would make the re-raise besides AA, KK, or AK with the three raises preflop?

I just watched that hand a little while ago. I was thinking the exact same thing.

I forget this one guy's name... but he was donking away his chips to D'Agostino a lot. I think his name was Palma? Like a 932 all diamond flop, and Palma bets with A4 of spades. D'Agostino flopped a flush and obviously calls. Turn pairs the 9 and Palma bets again. And then when he had TP and ten-kicker on an uncoordinated flop, Palma bets it all the way to the river. D'agostino calls down with a better kicker.

Did anybody see that kid fold JJ preflop to a simple raise with a top 5 chip stack? And the raise was from his buddy who he works with?

That dude that mucked JJ to a smallish preflop raise seemed REAAAAALY weak-tight, especially in the AQ hand where he flopped TPTK in position, and called down a flop and turn bet, and checked behind on the river.

he bet, was called in one spot, then was reraised.
