the reason no-one is posting isn't because of the clutter.

This isn't really the primary concern right now, it wouldn't be too difficult to identify a person as a to player or great poster/thinker.

The question is whether or not this is even a good idea/would garner any interest.

Yes.

Edited to add: Not entirely. I think people should be able to post in it...just not start threads and be held to a high standard for content in their posts. That said, I probably wouldn't post in it.

well be careful, because it shouldnt just be limited to just strassa, jman, boosted j, and aba. Thatd be a very boring forum indeed. What could happen is eliminating all the lower stakes player making comments.

It would be unfair to limit the forum to just the very top of the top players, because I would then have no where to post my 10/20 NL hands. How would I ever learn from my mistakes at higher stakes then?

"High Stakes NL Strategy" sounds like a good name for the new board. Change this one to "High Stakes NL Posturing".

People aren't posting really good stuff because they're paranoid about giving away information, and for good reason. Maybe if it was restricted with restrictions on who could even see it, but that still may not help since a lot of the guys on here play against each other a good amount of the time.
