don't know about school, but some of my friends do that for fun while on holiday. But they do it with water melons instead.

Prob. some stupid rumor someone picked up from the internet and decided to send a memo around about. Next it'll be don't flash your lights if you see a car driving around with their headlights off this month, cause some gang members are gonna kill you.

Anyway, a few kids getting drunk is a small price to pay for a scurvy-free school.
