Re: Great anonymous interview about being a broke player
[ QUOTE ]
FWIW, I played 1-2 NL at the South Point last week with Kenna James, he wasn't wearing his wedding ring and seemed like he was going through some tough times. [/ QUOTE ] I don't know if its him in the interview but the above is all accurate and his wife is not as old as you may think. He is also usually the nicest and most honest and open guy around. |

Re: Great anonymous interview about being a broke player
[ QUOTE ]
people keep saying this player is "broke" but having a 300k house to sell is far from being broke, just in the context of high stakes it is. 300k is a lot of money when the average wage per year is 25k where I live. [/ QUOTE ] You must never have had a mortgage, huh? |

[/ QUOTE ] You must never have had a mortgage, huh? [/ QUOTE ] im only 20 Im just saying that relatively he is by no means "broke" , especially if he has friends who are willing to help him, then he will never be completely broke. And I dont mean that in a sentimental way I mean that he will always have a chance to make money. When you look at actual broke peoples situations, for example almost every person my age whose in debt from school, then being able to sell a house for 300k doesnt exactly look too bad. |
