Full Tilt on Linux

I'm just wondering if anyone's gotten this working decently. It's incredibly slow in vmware (just for Full Tilt), and times out to no end. I recall it being very slow under Windows as well, so maybe there's nothing I can do to get it working better.

If anyone has it running under wine, I'd be extremely interested in all the patches that had to be applied to the wine source to get it working (I previously patched it up enough to install, and log in, but not enough to make it playable).
