And I think the thing that frustrates me the most about Tek's ABs is that he is a catcher and should be smarter and have some idea about how they are going to try to get him out. Yesterday against Wang they laid off like 16 pitches in a row as Wang walked the bases loaded. So what does he do? Come up hacking at the first pitch, of course. The 2 pitches he swung at in the AB were both clearly balls. I mean there's a reason he's hitting .255. And Tito hits him way too high in the lineup, too. Unless they're facing a lefty, he should be hitting last. Well, maybe not that low, but never ever 5th or 6th vs a righty.

BTW, before Jeter even swung, I was already thinking, "That's the worst pitch I've seen a Red Sox pitcher make this season." I was just hoping that it was so bad that it fooled Jeter. A frivolous notion.

Got to be objective. Yankees are a better team right now. Will that change when we get Manny back? I don't think so, I think they will still have the edge. We might have to back door this one and hope Anaheim takes them out for us in the playoffs.
