Default IVF Insurance Coverage

This is probably a longshot, but lots of smart people here, hopefully some doctors, maybe infertile couples who had to go through IVF.

Anyway, my wife and I are going to have to do IVF. We'd heard insurance didn't cover it, and my wife's insurance (she was teacher) didn't, so we figured we were SOL and got ready to pay the 30K.

Well, after some research, looks like some states do mandate coverage:

Additionally, as I understand it, companies headquarted in those states often offer it in others states as well.

So that's where we're at; my wife will be applying at Wells Fargo, Time Warner and a couple others. Or since we're relatively close to IL, maybe get a place and job just over border and do that.

Anyway, hopefully someone out there has good advice for Wisconsin residents; if not, this can be a learning experience for those of you who'll have to go through it at some point. I'll also be posting on fertility forums, but figured if anyone knew an angle it'd be a twoplustwoer in El D forum.

thanks in advance.
