Default party thin turn value raise

Villain is 43/15 and the reason I'm at the table. No reads other than that he's probably a bad player. I figure I can get value from high spades and lower pockets. Looks ok ? Obv checking river.

Not sure about this.

I prefer betting flop and if I check I would just call turn and usually a safe river. Raising the turn here is kind of meh, I would like it more if the board were like 6s6h9s.

Seems a good spot to bet the flop for value/protection and he's probably not gunna you c/r with air very often. As played i just call turn.

Bear in mind that he'll probably bet(bluff) his full range on the river if you flat call this turn, particularly if it blanks. I don't object to the raise if he's bad enough to call it with bare spades but I think he's folding most of his air and we lose the river bet as a result. Flop check is fine.

people w/ those stats float every pair worse than yours on those flops so you miss value there.
