Re: 25NL - AKo - TPTK - Facing Donkbet
[ QUOTE ]
ok we just call ... what if he bets the turn again?! 1/2 pot - 2/3 pot or even Pot fold and shout 'OMG' and punch the screen? [/ QUOTE ] Then its decision time, he's trying to build a big pot. Questions to ask: Is villan aggro? Does he stack off with 1 pair? Does he think on 2nd level? Does he even hand read? |

Re: 25NL - AKo - TPTK - Facing Donkbet
generally, leading out with a small bet on the flop = weakness. whereas, leading out with a big bet = gimme ur stack, foo. it's hard not to shove this flop. it's a leak that i have, too, but you really need to just call and reevaluate after villain's action on the turn.

Re: 25NL - AKo - TPTK - Facing Donkbet
I actually think 66 is a huge part of his range, so is AQo/AQs but since Ax is also a call is better.
You could argue a instant fold, but that would need a read. |

Re: 25NL - AKo - TPTK - Facing Donkbet
Not strictly a donkbet since he was last aggressor preflop.
My guess at preflop range would be AA-22, AK, AQ (AA, KK and AQ borderline if he knows what he's doing). Without a read could you realistically put him on Axs? c-bet on flop? Could be, but into two preflop raisers? On the flop, I'd put him on QQ, 66, AQ or possibly A6s. I just don't see enough within his range I want to play against. Random A, Q? Am I giving villain too much credit here? |
