Lacky,
I agree with that. It's also fun too look at old posts you made and see how much you have improved. I would add Jman to a list of posters for that.

Hand one: difficult. You are beating the majority of his range for betting the river, and if I were in this hand I would probably put him on KQ. Unlucky.

Hand two: bad. I don't understand why you would check the flop. If you're going to raise AJs from MP which is marginal, you have to bet this flop. Your river value raise is fine, but once he pushes it's a fold. There's nothing you can beat here, he's not shoving with AQ here.

the check was to induce bluffs, i thought w/ the jack on the river he's shoving worse jacks and that would make it raise/call instead of raise/fold

Hmm maybe it's more marginal than I thought. The only jacks that might call your raise are KJ, JT and occasionally J9. There is also a very small chance that he's slowplayed AA or KK into oblivion, but I would say not moe than 5% in this hand. On the other side, there's 33, QQ, QJ, 66, which are more likely to flat call the PF raise. I still think a call in this situation is -EV but it's a lot tougher than I thought on first glance.

Lennie,
Raising AJs from mp is not marginal in a 6max cash game you should never ever open fold AJs pf.

Bengie,
Hand 1 sometimes bet the flop but your line is fine that's just a cooler
Hand 2, Bet the flop man... there's a ton of value ppl will call with worse. That said I'll def check it some % of the time. Turn call is std obv and so is the river raise but once he shoves your toast. Calling is a pretty big spew. Like unless there's sick metagame if you put in 3bets on the river the guy is going to be pretty nutted.
