Flop 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Bet raise call.

turn: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I cr he calls.

River: T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet he raises, I fold.

Running horrible, just checking up to see if Im not tilty-folding.

i'd never fold this. what does he have that makes any sense? KK? no. TT? maybe, but if he has TT it is with the T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and even then the K is a horrible card for him to bet. imo the only hands he can have here are 99, T9s and TT and if he does, good for him.

I kinda dislike the flop/turn play. I'd probably have gone ahead and 3-bet the flop; there's plenty of value there and it's not like he's going to be folding much on this kind of board. Once the turn comes down as it does, however, I would probably not check-raise. You're now behind a flush as well as a 9, and like Bob says the fact that he bet into what should be a really scary card for both of you tilts his range toward those hands. In spite of this you've made the pot really big and have an easy call on the river.

I really want to fold but I think I would have to call. I assume this is live? If it's online call so fast that your finger catches fire. I guess it depends mostly on villain's opinion of my folding ability. I used to never fold but have posted some on here lately where I folded a pretty good hand so now I'm leaning back toward not folding again against people that know I have been folding pairs. I have a really hard time convincing myself he has KK/99 here. TT maybe I guess. T9s is the one that actually makes sense but there are only two ways to have it. I'd call and absolutely hate it, wishing that I could fold. His play seems so strong, so I'll hope it seems like that because he is just putting in some crazy raise.

The thing is, your turn check-raise looks a lot like a simple king with a flush card or a decent kicker, so he can presumably be raising any hand that beats kings up, including a non-nut flush, 87s, and perhaps even A9. Unfortunately, all of those hands also beat aces up. So I don't think this is one of those NL type situations where he shouldn't have a large value-raising range, and therefore you have a call because the ratio of value bets to bluffs is lower. Rather, I think there's enough chance of some sort of desperation bluff that it's worth calling a bet in this large pot. I suppose there's a small chance that he could have played AK or KT this way, and that contributes slightly to the equity of a call. But your hand is mostly a bluff-catcher, and online I think you'll see enough bluffs to warrant a call.

BTW, the thought turning your hand into a bluff and 3-betting crossed my mind, especially since you hold the nut flush card, but that's probably burning chips against 98% of opponents.

This live, I would never fold online. I agree about the flop line and that my turn line looked like a K. When he raised the flop I sensed like 77, 88. but when I cr turn he kind of tanked and when he raised the river he seemed very calm and confident. I honestly do not think this guy has a river bluff raise in his arsenal, but if he does I am the perect candidate for it.

agreed that I shouldnt be expecting him to bet this turn w/ range I am ahead of. I think bet/3 is much better. I think his hand actually looks alot like A9.
