Default $250 sat - AQ turn and river play

HH was on cake so I don't have raw HH. It's a $250 satellite to Aussie Millions where only 1st gets the seat, 2-4 get some cash, 85 entrants.

Blinds are 150/300, my stack is 11k and I raise to 850 UTG+2 with AQo and BB flat calls with a 15k stack, I have no reads on him, except that he doubled two hands previously with AA against A8 on a 1076 flop. Seems pretty tight.

Flop (1850 pot) comes 6810 with two hearts, he checks, I cbet for 1200 and he snap calls.
Turn (4250 pot) Qd putting two hearts and two diamonds on board, he checks, I check.
River (4250 pot) 10c he checks, I bet 2300.

Am I getting value from anything worse here or was this river bet pretty bad? Should I be betting the turn?

His snap call on flop combined with texture of flop and his range in BB calling ur raise means he hit this hand with something like a pair and a draw. He may interpret ur river bet as bluff given ur passive line but the only hand ur beating that calls is a pair of 8s. FWIW, why did u check behind on flop? seems like a definite bet. Ur letting him draw for free.

I probably give up on that flop unless you're following up with another turn bet pretty often because he will peel pretty light on that flop since a lot of pairs also have gutshots or w/e (connectors or gappers, hands like T9, 87 etc).

I definitely bet the turn here. As played your hand is good very often on the end but I don't expect to get paid off frequently.
