well probably but im pretty used to students getting killed

in the 3 years of high school
-one dude run over and backed up on repeatedly while walking his younger sister to the store
- 4 kids involved in a wreck on a coastal highway pulling 90 and meeting a construction truck headon
- countless shootings on the football stands/field/school whenever we would play vs compton/hamilton or any other ghetto school
- asbestos outbreak
- bomb threats

theres probably more im forgetting. whatever im not gonna derail this thread or anything with how public schools in la were practically smaller jails.

uh yea, very fuckedup. I went to undergrad on a very large campus and always felt somewhat uneasy about the openness of the shcool and ease to get into/out of major building, lectures, etc...not to say that I was gonna get shot up or anything but a runaway convict or armed robber could easily wind up in a classroom.

that being said, the parents of the victims here have a possible WRONGFUL DEATH suit against VTECH. Especially since the administration keeps going back and forth on information. There's a shooting on campus with a suspect at large and everyone is just supposed to go about their normal business. This is irresponsible to say the least. The school is responsible for the safety of the students. Now I'm not saying but acting on the first incident would've prevented other deaths because only a deranged individual would do something like this, but maybe postpone, regroup or just diminish the large number of 32 people.

Also the local police seem extremely stupid on the press conference and they really need to get the FBI in there so the ballistics and forensics aren't [censored] with by these locals whose training prob isn't the best.
