Well I agree that this was an automatic call just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy for putting in all my money with just a pair.

I did lose the hand to J9s, so I felt I may have over played it.

The fact that you have a pair and that it's for all you money doesn't really matter. You are getting 3.5 to 1 to call and you have him beat WAY WAY more often than that.

If you called, you played it fine. Even if you KNEW he had J9, you still had to call his shove based on pot odds!

I think 4betting pre sucks, here

I might play it slower on the flop

EDIT: oops, thought you were UTG. Still, I think calling is probably best. My understanding is that people give way more respect to 4bets in FR.
