hmmm I have no problem with OP's line. As far as the line with JJ this is not something I am currently doing but I can see how it would make some decent money; assuming that A. your capaable of folding it on the flop alot B. you know the guy is somewhat aggressive and you stand to make more money calling than 3 betting. It would have been secksi to check the river and let him value bet and then raise...but that is losing value the majority of the time.

I think this was played perfectly. I like the pot control on turn and it ended up to be a great move as you lost the minimum.

Some times playing hands outside of the normal way is +ev [/ QUOTE ]this is not one of them. jj oop against some one good without n e weird history is -EV if u dont 3 bet preflop. think of it this way... this is THE ONLY FLOP he gains n e value from. n e thing other then a 10 high flop is worthless. u will either have to fold to a cbet even when u r well ahead ie. K high flop or villian will spike a set/over pair on the flop. and when neither of these happen u r still oop thus it will b hard to protect ur hand as well as squeeze value from villian
