Default SQL queries etc

As you may know from some other threads, I am messing around with some SQL queries on my PokerTracker db to try to find useful bits of information.

I don't especially want to clutter up this or any other forum with code, because it's pretty much off topic, but it seems to me that getting together to create some queries and analyse the data might be useful and interesting.

So if anyone is interested in doing this away from the 2+2 forum, and of course posting interesting discoveries here, please let me know either by responding here or by PM. Suggestions as to how we might communicate could be a good thing, too.

Guy.

Tech note for geeks: I'm using the postgresql db in pokertracker, so my queries won't work on Access dbs and vice versa. Could become annoying if we share code.

I would recomend converting to postgres sooner rather than later. I did it with around 50k hands in my DB and it didn't take long at all. I can't remember exactly, but I think it was under two hours.

As far as custom queries go, I've thought about this, but couldn't really come up with anything that useful that I couldn't get from pokertracker.

example?
